  • Q. How do I use WabiSabi Clip’s services?
    Visit the “Request to Book” page and provide us with the details of your desired photo shoot location and time. If your preferred location is not listed, please contact us through our contact form . We will coordinate with our photographers to match your schedule and get back to you. Once everything is confirmed, we’ll send an invoice for payment. All set? Enjoy your photo shoot on the scheduled day! For more information, please refer to our service flow.
  • Q. Can I request specific themes and styles when booking?
    Absolutely! You are welcome to specify any themes or styles while making your reservation.
  • Q. What should I prepare before booking?
    Decide on the date, location, number of participants, and the desired theme for your photo shoot. Themes could range from family, friends, candid fun moments, stylish poses, or romantic couple shots.
  • Q. How far in advance should I book?
    We recommend booking at least 7 days in advance. However, for shorter notice, feel free to contact us. Early booking allows for better preparation.
  • Q. Can I book this service as a gift for someone else?
    Yes, that’s perfectly fine. Just inform us about the details.
  • Q. Can you suggest good locations for the photo shoot?
    Our local photographers will be happy to suggest the best spots for your shoot. If you have any specific locations in mind, please let us know.
  • Q. What is the maximum number of participants?
    The session can accommodate up to 6 people. For groups larger than 7, we recommend a longer session.
  • Q. Who are the photographers at WabiSabi Clip?
    To get to know our photographers, please check our photographer's samples from the top page.
  • Q. Can I choose a specific photographer when booking?
    Absolutely! If you have a preferred photographer, do let us know during the booking process.
  • Q. Do WabiSabi Clip photographers speak languages other than Japanese?
    Yes, they do! Our photographers are quite the multilingual bunch, with English being a common second language. Now, we can’t promise Shakespearean fluency, but they are all wonderfully adept at charades and have a knack for friendly communication. So even if there’s a bit of ‘lost in translation’, expect lots of smiles and a fun time!
  • Q. How will I communicate with the photographer?
    Once your photo shoot is confirmed, we will provide you with the photographer’s email address for direct communication.
  • Q. Are WabiSabi Clip photos provided digitally, or can I also receive printed copies?
    All photos are shared digitally. We do not offer printing services; you may arrange printing independently.
  • Q. Can I edit or modify the photos taken by WabiSabi Clip?
    We’re sorry, but editing or modifying the photos is not possible.
  • Q. When will I be able to view my photos?
    Photos will be delivered within about a week. For expedited delivery within 3 days, an optional rush order service is available for ¥20,000.
  • Q. What format will the photos be in?
    Photos are provided in JPEG format at 300dpi, with dimensions of 3300 x 2200 pixels. This size is suitable for SNS posting. For larger sizes, additional fees apply.
  • Q. Can I receive the RAW data of the photos?
    We do not provide RAW or unedited photo files.
  • Q. May I post the photos on social media?
    Absolutely! Feel free to post on SNS. We would appreciate it if you could tag Wabisabi Clip’s official SNS handle in your posts.
  • Q. What if I’m running late?
    If you’re running late, please inform the photographer by DM text or email. Your session will still end at the originally scheduled time, and extending the shoot may incur a fee of ¥20,000 per hour, subject to the photographer’s availability. Please plan to arrive early, especially in urban areas where traffic can be unpredictable.
  • Q. Can I tip the photographer?
    Absolutely! If our photographer turns your photo session into a scene straight out of a movie, feel free to express your gratitude with a tip. But be warned, they might get so excited that they start capturing even more spectacular shots!
  • Q. Can I extend the shooting time?
    Yes! Additional shooting time can be arranged for ¥20,000 per hour (25 extra photos), subject to the photographer’s availability. The additional fee can be paid online after the shoot.
  • Q. What should I wear for the photo shoot?
    Dress to impress yourself! Whether it’s your favorite superhero t-shirt or that elegant outfit you save for special occasions, choose something that makes you feel like a star. Just keep an eye on the weather forecast – we’re photographers, not weather magicians! And a little heads up: you might need to do your own hair and makeup. We focus on capturing your natural charm, wind-swept hair and all!
  • Q. How do I meet up with my photographer?
    Meet your photographer at the pre-arranged location and time. Please be punctual to make the most of your session.
  • Q. What is your cancellation policy?

  • Q. What’s the plan if it rains during our photo session?
    If the weather decides to play a dramatic role on your big day, don’t worry! While our photographers aren’t equipped to battle the elements, we do have a nifty “reschedule policy”for such watery plot twists. It’s always best to be safe than sorry, especially when the clouds decide to throw a surprise water party!
